Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable, and Farm Market Expo (“GLEXPO”, “our”, “us”, or “we”) is proud to present to you the Great Lakes Expo (the “Expo”). As you seek more information about the Expo and register for the Expo, we wanted to provide information about how we treat the information that we collect about you during that process as we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we may collect information from you, including via our Website located at https://glexpo.com (the “Website”), paper mail, in-person interaction, email or via the phone, and how that information may be used.

By interacting with us and providing us information about yourself, including by registering for the Expo, you agree to this Privacy Notice governing our collection of information. If you do not accept this Privacy Notice, you must not provide us any information about yourself, including not using our Website and not registering for the 2024 Great Lakes EXPO.

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

We collect information that you choose to provide to use when you register for the Expo or otherwise communicate with us through the Website, email, in person, over the telephone, or by mail. During the registration process, we may request certain contact information about you such as your name, address, email, and details about your Expo registration.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will only collect personal information from you (such as name, address, telephone number, email address, business information, etc.) which you have provided voluntarily to us either by completing registration, registering to be an exhibitor, or enquiry forms or sending emails to us. Please do not submit your personal data to us if you do not wish us to collect it.

We may collect information about you automatically when you visit this Website. The collection of information may involve the use of cookies and web beacons. A web beacon is a small graphic image placed on a web page that is designed to allow us to monitor visitors to our Website. HOW WE SHARE AND DISCLOSE INFORMATION

If you do register for the Expo, we may share your information with our marketing partners, such as magazine publications, to allow them to market products and services that are similar to those advertised, shown, or otherwise displayed at the Expo, and to allow you to register for next year’s Expo.

Vendors and Service Providers. We may share analytic information about you, such as demographic information, or information that does not personally identify you with our third party vendors and service providers that provide us with specialized services regarding putting on the Expo, including, but not limited to, customer services, registration, payment processors, subscription fulfillment, accommodations, booth decoration, freight services, research statistical analysis, application development, postal mailing, email and fax deployment, and other information services.

Please note that we do not share a list of registrants with the Expo exhibitors to allow Expo exhibitors to market to you directly.

Internally and with Corporate Affiliates. We share personal information with our corporate affiliates and subsidiaries, who process personal information on our behalf, where necessary to provide a product or service that you have requested, or in other circumstances with your consent or as permitted or required by law. Otherwise, we use your information internally for our purposes, including to plan future events and to market future events to you.

Legal and compliance. Notwithstanding any other provision of this privacy policy, we may disclose information about you to any third party when disclosure is required by law, or desirable to permit us to exercise or preserve our legal rights or take action regarding potentially illegal activities, to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect the safety of any person.

If you believe that applicable data protection laws have not been complied with, you may lodge a complaint with us by using the contact information provided below. You also have the right to complain directly to the appropriate data protection authority.

DO NOT TRACK
